Came here one early morning after work. Someone helped me get seated politely and right away. They had some interesting cushioned chairs full of Mexican traditional paintings. They had the radio on rather loudly filling the empty atmosphere of the restaurant. I ordered some carne asada tacos and a chicken chimichanga plate. The server quickly brought me some complimentary tortilla chips and salsa to entertain my pallet. They were home made, warm and crunchy although they needed a bit of salt. Plenty of condiments were found on each table. My carne asada tacos came first. This is what you want to come in for, I will spare you the desire to try anything else. The meat is juicy and fresh how it should be, the tortillas are doubled and lightly greasy. The tacos come with plenty of topping for a bit over a dollar each. Some real tacos callejeros. The salsa has a real kinky bite to it, you wouldn't expect it. If you're not into that, I guess you could ask for no salsa but that would be disrespectful. Its about to make you its b*tch and you want to be it. Those tacos were the best, and I don't say this lightly. Next came the chicken chimichanga, which was very well sized and came with a serving of rice and beans. The description said it had roasted chicken but I didn't really taste the roasting part much, which instantly disappointed me because I'm obviously a food critic. lol It was also topped with a mountain of guacamole. This is the kind of stuff you want to eat when you haven't eaten in like a day or two. At the time I had just gotten off of work so I really did believe I could eat all of this at once, and it was a foolish mistake. I had to take it home to go, unfortunately the quality of the food does decrease as it ages into the hours. I recommend eating anything purchased from here at the time it is served, it doesn't have the magic power of Chinese take out. By the way, don't forget that mexican candy on your way out.

Rant summary: The service was attentive, A for the same word.
The food was OK overall, but the carne asada tacos were great. B overall, A for tacos C for chimichanga.

I ordered a Shrimp burrito and some chicken tacos to go from here and everything was excellent.  Be warned however their spicy salsa is very spicy (which I enjoyed) and will get your attention.  Also this restaurant sells Mexican candies which is awesome.  I will likely be back!

This was one time that we did not rely on Yelp and it paid off for us.
My colleagues and I were carpooling to a football game in Hemet.  Our normal BBQ place was closed for a private party. We decided to drive around and look for a place to eat.

I'm a mom-and-pop kind of guy, but I was a little leery of this place.  Walking in, all of the available tables were dirty.   Yuck.
A waiter came out and said that he would clean the tables, just have a seat.

I ended up ordering a plate of chiles rellenos.

I can't believe I said that.  They were spicy and perfect.   I even gave away a bite to my bestie.  Her eyes lit up.   None of my colleagues complained about the food. Two of of them ordered the molcajetes and they had a hard time even finishing their food.

Service wasn't great.  Cleanliness was definitely not a strength, but the qualify of the food at decent prices  make this a place to try.
